Cook from frozen. Remove all packaging and cook in small batches without overcrowding. Both the chicken and the centre of the filling must reach at least 75°C before serving.

Oven baking

Preheat a conventional oven to 180°C, or a fan-forced oven to 170°C.

Arrange the frozen chicken fillers in a single layer on a baking tray, leaving space between each portion.

Cook for approximately 20 minutes, turning once during cooking. Check the internal temperature of both the chicken and the filling. Continue cooking if either has not reached 75°C.

Shallow frying

Heat a shallow layer of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Carefully add the frozen chicken fillers in a single layer. Cook for approximately 14 minutes, turning once during cooking.

Check that both the chicken and the centre of the filling have reached at least 75°C. Continue cooking if required, then drain on absorbent kitchen paper.

Air frying

Only use an air fryer if the current pack or Ingham’s provides air-frying instructions specifically for Alfredo Chicken Fillers. Follow those instructions for temperature, cooking time, batch size and turning.

Do not substitute oven timings or settings intended for reheating fully cooked chicken. If product-specific air-frying instructions are unavailable, use the oven method above.

Always check that both the chicken and the centre of the filling reach at least 75°C before serving.

Before serving

Use a clean food thermometer to check the thickest part of the chicken and the centre of the filling in each portion. If any reading is below 75°C, continue cooking and check again.

Do not rely on cooking time, the colour of the crumb or melted filling alone to determine whether the product is fully cooked.

The filling can be very hot. Allow it to cool slightly before eating.

Storage

Keep frozen at or below −18°C until required.
